Lisa Larsen, German-American photographer - Frenzied Shoppers Biography: Lisa Larsen was born 1925 in Germany and emigrated to the United States with her family as an adolescent. After graduating college at 17, she worked as an apprentice Photographer for Vogue Magazine. She later worked as a freelancer for many magazines, including New York Times Magazine, Parade, Glamour, Vogue, and Life. She photographed many international political figures and leaders, including John F. Kennedy, Nikita Khrushchev, Golda Meir, and Douglas MacArthur. She died in 1959 from breast cancer.
