Lights Tips:

Only use Christmas lights that have been tested for safety. If a "UL" label isn't affixed, don't use them.

Only use Christmas lights outside that are weatherproof and rated for outside use.

Don't daisy chain two many sets of Christmas lights off of the same extension cord. You shouldn't have more than three sets of lights on an extension cord.

Turn off Christmas lights or other lighted decorations when going to bed or leaving the house.

Carefully examine Christmas light sets before using. Discard any damaged sets.

Do not leave any empty bulb sockets, which can be a hazard for children.
